COSM Effects Stopped Working

Hi,

I'm running V-Studio 20 on 64 bit Windows 7. For some reason when I have "COSM" selected on my unit I'm getting no sound. If I push the COSM button, so the red light goes off, I can play the guitar but it doesn't have any effects on it.

This used to work fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, editor, and Guitar Tracks but it's still now working. Could this be a fault in the device or is there a software option somewhere that'll fix this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

See note at very bottom=about RE-AMP(its in settings)

check your input selection, also go in to setting, watch the draw of you signal.
you can bypass comos effects through this setting.
make sure you have it set up so its in mode to record the cmos effects and not just bypass for dry record to apply effects later.

i have a feeling this could have been changed somehow.

the vs 20 has a few modes to record in.
one mode allows you to record the cmos effects as you record.
the other mode allows you to record just the guitar(DRY) and then after the recording is done, apply the cmos effects to the dry signal.

    give it a whirl.
if need be,go to,program files/roloans/vs 20 and check out the pdf guide about direct monitor.
    heres something from the manual.

INPUT SENS *1- Adjusts the input sensitivity. Adjust this until you get it as high as you can without causing the PEAK indicator on the VS-20 to light.

REC LEVEL- Adjusts the volume of the sound that is output from the VS-20 to your computer.
USB MIX LEVEL *1- Adjusts the amount of digital audio signal from your computer that will be mixed in.

INPUT SELECT *1-Specifi es the type of signal that is connected. LINE, GUITAR, MIC1 (built-in mic), MIC2 (external mic), SIMUL
    ****************************************************************************************************************

    CHECK THIS FIRST-
IMPORTANT****the thing to be looking for here is up the top next to routing-
    NORMAL/DRY/or RE-AMP
