I like this just the way it is. It's fresh and stylistically different than most of the songs on this forum. Carry on!

Thanks, guys! Lynn, I'm glad you like it! I definitely want to be a bit different than most on the forum- A lot of music on here is very natural, real-life, played with real instruments and such. But I aim to make a produced, poppy sound that's just as good and expressive as a 'natural' instruments. Thank you, notnat! I can agree- the mix was a bit dirty, especially since I went with a compression and hi-freq exciter to make it pop a bit more-so. Any specific blemishes to point out? I pushed the pitch correction button a TON, as you could probably hear. My mind was mush by the time I was finishing up last nite, so the last few chunks of the song were pretty rough.

This is, frankly, incredible. I think the mix needs some work and I am really hearing the room on your vox. If it is reverb, then you are using the wrong type IMO, as its making it sound like you are in a closet.

Thanks for sharing. I mean this with no disrespect but it reminds me (not the mix but the melody) too much of Smashmouth's song from the first Shrek movie and that song in the closing credits of the film Juno. IOW, in the 50s the most popular chord structure was C-Am-F-G and was over used. This melody type (although not exact) is showing sooooo much now a days I fear in 10-20 years time it will be the C-Am-F-G of the early 21st century. Again, I mean this with no disrespect. What you did was good and yes, the mix needs some work IMO. Keep at it.

@bapu, thanks for the comment! I have definitely noticed that far too many are adopting this chord progression, and recently I've tried to branch out. Suppose this one was intended to do a bi of self-justice, because it works for the song and lyrics in this case. I've definitely been making better use of my resources, attempting to learn more and more about the process of production and making the sound I want to make. Hey, foxwolfen- I'm 15 yeerz (cuz I tend to boast that)... I guess I did do a weird reverb, although I didn't want the vox to be an 'in your face' kinda sound. I suppose there's some retouching to do.

15. Remarkable. Just remarkable. I think you will have a fabulous life if you keep producing work like this. At 15 I was completely brain dead (not that I am much better now). Props to you my friend.

Great stuff David. If you can do this at 15, the world is your oyster.

Just looking at what you have and your age this is amazing! The mix needs a bit more on the low end; otherwise, it is very fresh and innovative.

sorry but, 15 year olds don't know the word bonafide, let alone sing it...... Other than that, I love your stuff. Needs a lot of work but, what doesn't. The main comment I have about this 'Six sense' song which probably applies to your other vocal stuff is that I think you should refrain from all the hollow sounding effects. ie: chorus, doubling, room verb etc. Also, A high pass filter on most everything will help a lot. Nice sketches.
