ValhallaVintageVerb updated

A new reverb mode was added to ValhallaVintageVerb v1.0.1 released today. From the update email

New reverb mode: Sanctuary.
- Sanctuary is loosely based on the "constant density" reverb algorithms of the 1970s, such as the EMT250 and 224 Constant Density Plate.
- The echo density of Sanctuary increases with time, for a more natural decay.
- The algorithm incorporates discrete early reflections, with the early reflection level adjusted by the Attack control.
- Extensive detuning modulation is used within the algorithm, for a wide stereo spread and a lush decay that is largely free of random pitch shifts.

I picked up VRoom & VVV yesterday.

From what I've checked out so far, both are quite good and worth the $$.

Did you get v1.0.1 of VVV or was v1.0 still shipping? The update was finished and the installer had already been released to beta testers. Just curious.

When I saw got the email today, I thought: Awesome! daily updates!
    ..then I checked the v.

Figured he probably had committed to that version by then.

Yeah, the v1.0.1 installer was released to beta testers yesterday afternoon. BTW, if you have not not checked them out, there are extra presets for both reverbs in the ValhallaDSP forum at kvraudio.

I grabbed a few of the xmls over there & elsewhere when I was researching & trying to decide which one to get.
I decided to stop deciding one over the other.

Just been messing around getting familiar with the effects of parameter adjustments but thanks for the heads up; I'll hit their forum in more detail.
