Why I stick around...

In view of my little issue w/ Waldorf PPG, I had post a thread on a Logic board, similar to the one I posted here. The thread went unanswered, w/ a whopping 13 views and quickly dropped at the bottom of the second page, where I guess it's unlikely to be seen...

This reminds me once again why I dig these forums here so much, and the sense of community. It's been said often, and by many, but it never ceases to amaze me.

We're on a different platform, working w/ a different host, totally different plug-in standards, and I'm sort of an intruder here, but even then, folks here chime in and try to see if they can help, look up for info that could help on the web, ask questions...

Man, I love this place.

BTW, Waldorf tech support quickly wrote back, saying that they managed to confirm the issue and escalated it.

There is a GREAT group of guys here...

Some get a bit too "testy" and sensitive at times...but all in all
these guys go out of their way to be of assistance to anyone that
    requires it...

I'm proud to be a part of this forum...

And glad to know you are getting somewhere with the Salad folk! (not FORK)

    You're welcome.

Wish there was some way to help resolve that issue with the Waldorf PGG plugin. Dang it, some bugs can be more stubborn than a mule with its head stuck in a crevice.

Some Plugins can be finicky and won't work as well with some hosts (DAW) yet work perfectly in others.

For now you might have to make a list of the flaky presets and thereby avoid loading them in Logic, that's if that helps prevents it from crashing.

Whew, got to go.... I've got more baskets to weave and later on I might redecorate the white padded room, maybe add some color.
AWw no, their serving pumpkin pudding and creme puffs tonight. Dang it, time for my medication.

    I don't know.

But I have to admit. Fishing M&M's out of beards sounds like a blast. I may grow a beard just for that purpose.
