Toontrack EZkeys update.
New update is available in the downloads area of your Toontrack User page. Can't say more than it fixes some stuff and sets up EZkeys for some other stuff in the future.

I got the update. Uh Oh, more to come? I'm already behind on the newest EZKeys Jazz MIDI. Not that I do a lot of Jazz. What's next? Techno Piano?

I one wish they would dip into rock B3 organs. I need to spend more time with the program. Last I used it, I was a bit disappointed in the number of files to choose from. I guess I'm used to the drum program with (what seems like) 100's of grooves to choose from. With EZ keys, I feel like I have 5 or so patterns. Although I know I can change the key and complexity, just seems kind of small. Still, I would be first in line if they would offer some blues and rock organ patches.
Life is a garden ... dig it.

I suspect that is where they will be going next. BTW, I am not a beta tester and I have no knowledge of TTs product development strategy.

Thanks Mod Bod! Downloading now. Without this forum and users alerting us, we would never know about TT's updates. Sure wish TT would send us emails about these updates, but they never have and probably never will. Thanks

The update seems to load faster then the previous version...that's a good thing... And the Grand Piano update sounds a little better to me...maybe it's just me... 3 Updates total... EZKeys Player Grand Piano MIDI I don't own the Upright so don't know if that was updated as well or not...

I tried EZKeys and thought it sounded great but have never had a chance to compare it to some of my other pianos. If anyone has done some shootouts, I would like to get your thoughts. Also how does it sound in a mix? Just OK or jump up and down stellar?

I can say that I prefer the EZkeys piano over the True Piano.

I highly recommend downloading the FREE version of Addictive Keys.. It's only 49 keys of the Studio Grand....but it's FREE...and sounds great... you get 3 mic positions instead of 6...but it's FREE... Did I mention...it's FREE? http://www.xlnaudio.com/products/view/35 Cheers!

I'm not sure that the EZkeys libraries are the be all/end all libraries but more of a compromise that will sit well in a mix for someone who is inexperienced or just plain in a hurry to get the task completed. That said, I know that comparisons to the best products are taken into account and the product isn't hastily thrown together and rushed to market.

I have Ivory II (the full boat), NI's piano series, The Giant, TruePianos & EZKeys Grand & Upright (and some others I'm sure). I hope this is not my new "silver bullet" that I just have to buy

Addictive is very good, just from the initial listen. I downloaded that free demo. Thanks cclarry. I have to use it in a mix however to be sure. I have the Bosendorfer 290 from years ago which sounds terrible by itself however, it works many times in the mix as the piano in the background and off to the side. Working on a comparsion with EZKeys now.
