recording proble MC6

i will start by saying i created a tune ...7 tracks...it recorded just fine.
i then created anotehr tune utiizing 10 racks...no audio input..or external instruments. nothing was changed....
the record function does not work...the tracks are armed. hit record..nothing....
 
I'm new to this software, but why does it work once then not again, even though nothing has changed?

    tell us more. 

    the 7 track tune...was it audio with a mic?

    The 10 track was it audio or midi or a combo of both?

    If you try to record audio to a midi track or midi to an audio track it will not work. Be sure that's not happening. 

    also tell us about the version of Music Creator and the computer operating system as well as the sound card you are using plus the outboard gear..... mixer, mics, interface  you have in the chain.

    The more we know about the system the easier it is to assist you.
