It translates very well.  It has a very familiar, radio friendly sound.  This would be a great theme song for a movie or TV show.

    All the best,

i think i need to mix the keys hotter....
    during verses, turnarounds.....

i think the solo section is fine.....
    but it ain't nailed yet...

    thanks for commenting....
this is a bit more modern of a mix than the 1st one I tried, which was more emulating the original, which of course was done for vinyl.

A really well thought out, played and recorded rocker you have here Bat. It would be hard to top Pura Vida and this isn't that but it is good at what it is.

    Hey Bat,

Translation - all instruments are clean but bass and kick are down compared to your usual stellar mixing.  The parts are played really well and the vocal is hot.  I think it needs more energy in the mix.  The guitars are very wide but not as big sounding as you do.  When I play it soft, I don't get the drive.  When I crank it loud - it comes together.  Again, love the playing.

    thanks guys....
    i really appreciate the feedback...

so i took some notes, went back and re-mixed this from scratch this evening...

see the new thread, and compare them if you would..... i left the other one up for a bit.

see if this new one dials everything in a bit better.

    it's an interesting experiment, anyways.....
