Danny D, what is that icon?

In your Transient Shaper video, you have an icon in your track header that you enabled and it showed the wave form adjustment after the FX were applied. Very cool.
How do I find that? Is it X2 only?

I think it comes up for Synth tracks in X1

    heres from the manual

A synth track can display a waveform preview of its output. When you enable this display function
by clicking the button on the track strip, the amplitude of a synth track's audio signal is
graphed in real time as a waveform.

The icon is displayed in the message but doesnt paste into this post

That's waveform preview. You may need to have your tracks set to "all" and then open them up a bit wider if you're not seeing it. Waveform preview is in just about all versions of Sonar I believe from Sonar 6 on up. I may be mistaken, but I know it's been around for a while. It may look different in 8.5 and below, but it should be there.

Yeah, ^ this is correct. It comes from virtual tracks you create when inserting a soft synth. Where it gives you the option for "all tracks mono" or "all tracks stereo"....when you pick one of them, you'll see it. It's also there in all your busses.

    Thanks Danny

I wasnt sure if it came up outside of synth tracks or not.

Neat actually seeing it in action though

Ah, I see, only in synths and busses.
I was looking at audio at the time of the post.
    Still, pretty useful.
    Thanks all.
