need help to sync the tempo of a mixdown to tempo of a loop

hi folks. i'm using sonar 7 producer edition. i have a 5 minute wav file created from a drum loop. i would like to sync the tempo of a mixdown to the tempo of this loop/track. the tempos are close but not exactly equal. how do i do this? i have checked out various threads & tutorials, but most talk about counting beats & measures or refer to MIDI, which i don't use. surely there's a way of snapping the transients of the project to the transients of the loop track?

Use audiosnap, if that was available in Sonar 7. I'm not sure if it was. Search the Help Menu or manual to find out.
