Sonar X2 and Yamaha MotifXS

Hi,

I think that Sonar X2 is a really good DAW.
Can anybody tell me if there's a way to control the DAW with my Yamaha Motif XS? The problem is, that even if this keyboard can be configured in order to work with Sonar (and thats's what I did), Sonar does not react at all. Is there anywhere a configuration file or should I use the "learn mode" and configure myself all the sliders and knobs of my keyboard?

Thanks in advance.

You may want to post this question over at www.motifator.com under the Sonar subject.  Not that there are not people here that can help you just a more focused group when it comes to using Yamaha keyboards.

Thanks for your reply, Terry. I did it.

A temporary solution seems to be to select "Mackie Control" as "Control Surface".
