Catanya in SONAR X2a 64bit

  I like Catanya but have only been able to use in in X2a 32bit. Can't get X2a 64bit (Windows 7 64bit) to see Catanya in the PlugInManager (32bit X2a will see it). I have the Catanya .dll in both the 32bit and 64bit Cakewalk VST plugins folders, have scanned multiple times, etc. I've read the threads about this, dabbled briefly with modular environments (MUX), etc. but no joy for 64bit SONAR. On a whim, in SONAR X2a 64bit, I opened NI Kore2, inserted Catanya, inserted a softsynth, VOILA........ works perfectly. WOW. Saved the appropriate track folders as a "Catanya and Kore" track template...sweet. For those of you with Kore2, thought I'd share that with you... now time to make music in SONAR 64bit/Catanya without any more futzin' around.. Rusty

    Another catanya fan...awesome. 

    I got it to work re-wire with that other DAW that sounds like creeper, but it is bit of a flaky kluge.  I have Kore player from Komplet 7 will give this a try.  

    I e-mail the developer every few months and ask him when the 64 bit will be out, but they are not the most responsive folks in the business.

      I also have Kore Player in addition to Kore2. I took a quick look... looks like Kore Player won't load external (non-NI) VSTs? Kore2 definitely will. I can stay in a Sonar X2a 64bit environment and apply Catanya in front of soft synths easily.... whew..!
