tell us about the computer, the operating system, the sound card and the version of Music Creator you are using. Also any external things you are using as well.
Don't worry..... It took me the better part of a week before I was able to get it to reproduce some music. I was really getting torqued.
I also discovered, and I still do not know why, but I have not been able to get the laptop I have to play music with the factory sound card. I've been doing this music thing for many years, and have assisted many others in the meantime, but I have always had to use an external soundcard with the laptop. Maybe I'm just thick.... or maybe it's this particular computer.
On the plus side... 99.999% of all people can generally get it to play on their machines.
Try right clicking the MC icon and select "Run as Administrator" and see if that does anything for you. Sometimes it does. As the Admin, run the wave profiler again.
Be sure to use MME driver mode, and let the Wave Profiler run to properly ID the sound card. If there are any audio demo's in it, try playing that demo. If not, you can simply open the program to a new project and import any wave or MP3 song into a track. Audio is easier to use to get it working.
Also ... well you said you did the tutorials.... maybe have another look because they are helpful on getting started.
The main thing to understand is to have patience. It can take a bit of time working on a forum site to solve a problem but sticking with it will eventually get it done. Other users here will pop in with ideas.
