Solved: Problem getting Korg Wavestation x64 to work in Sonar

Hi.

I'm having some trouble getting The Korg Wavestation x64 to even show in Insert Softsynths.
I have been running all Korgs in 32-bit mode, but downloaded the x64 update.
And while all the other plugins works in x64 mode (M1, polysix, monopoly etc..), the wavestation doesn't show.
I have tried rescanning, and it IS showing the synth, and the correct file in the Plugin Manager.
The 32-bit version can be used, but of course I would prefer to go all x64.
I have tried uninstalling and installing again, but now I'm a bit lost...

And since all the other Korg plugs works fine, and I followed the same procedure, it seems strange to me.

Does anyone have this plugin running OK in x64?

I'm running Windows 7 with all updates etc...

Seems to run OK here, just tried it.  It does take a couple of sec's to show the GUI but when I touch the about section it shows up as Ver 1.7.0 which I believe is the 64 bit version.

I did only run the 64bit installer.

Interestingly when I do a search for the dll it is in two places both different sizes one being 5.69Mb and the other being 6.16Mb. both claiming to be version 1.7.0

grab the dll. and put it in the cakewalk/vst plugin folder and hit re-scan in plug in manager.
just make sure you know where that dll was installed to.
and make sure sonars plug in manager has that file path in its manager.

Hey guys - thanks a lot for fast responses!

Meanwhile I got it fixed, by unstalling AND deleting wavestation.dll from both program files (normal and x86) and deleting all references to wavestation.dll using regedit.
I could see some references in the registry to bit bridge, where wavestation.dll was still there even though I had it uninstalled and deleted. Somehow that must have caused the x64 version to be "hidden" I guess.

But it works now with only x64 versions installed :-)

Thanks again - I love this forum!
