Clip Gain Envelopes Randomly Not Being Read

Hello, all. I'm using X1 Expanded, and my clip gain envelopes are driving me crazy.
I'm using nodes to edit them and sometimes I can hear my changes and sometimes not... and it's extremely random.
I've tried shutting off all FX, nothing.
Resetting the audio engine works for a bit, then back to the insanity.

At a loss, here. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

    Oh this post scares me.

I've been complaining about this problem since Sonar 6 PE.
I haven't experienced it since X1 but to know it's out there lurking is not good.

The problem is that some have the issue and some don't.
And the ones that do can't reproduce so there is no way to send an example to Cakewalk so they can fix it.

    Frustrating.

My work around was to use Track envelopes in place of Clip envelopes.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
