SteveStrummerUK SteveStrummerUK Is one permitted to use the word 'arse' in this fred? I'd prefer it if you didn't. You can't argue with that guy. You'll never win.

I just got Cubase 7, that makes 3 major packages to deal with... love the proper harmony system built in... not sure about the rest yet. And oh yeah, the new Mac Pro is very nice to work with, no more hardware restrictions on connections... sorry PC drives me crazy due to Winbloze.... if they ever port Sonar to a Mac well....

craigb I thought he was going by "Stevie" now, no? (From Project M's reply.) I may not be a phrenologist but, if I had to guess (i.e., Steve, Stevie, etc.), it probably depends upon which of the (quadrophenic) Steves you are addressing at that given moment.

I thought this was a serious post at first but soon sussed it isn't for a number of reasons........ - The question hasn't morphed without warning into "Which is better Sonar X2 or Studio One".
- No one has suggested downloading a trial which is apparently a ridiculous idea
- Mixcraft hasn't been declared as the best DAW ever.
- Mixcraft hasn't been declared as "No longer up to the job"
- The OP hasn't been banned...........................(yet)

Steve... I just saw the flames of the abyss... I was reading the Sonar vs Cubase 7 thread upstairs when it got locked and "dumped into the abyss" (according to Seth K.) I barely excaped. I rushed down here and was relieved to find that the CH is NOT the abyss, at least not that abyss. I was about to make the common sense response that thread needed... but was a couple of minutes too late... alas. Anyway... I am glad I escaped with only the smell of smoke. I feel like Spiderman or Sherlock Holmes or something Julien
