    We used to wear pumps for gym at primary school. The ones with elastic across the front. If you forgot yours you had to get a fausty pair out of 'the box'. It was best not to forget your shorts..

    I went to an all-boys school for a while. If you forgot your gym shorts, you had to do it in the buff...pretty sure there were one or two kids who used to leave their stuff at home deliberately.
