Export Audio multiple bounces

Whenever I export audio in X2, the export progress bar starts, progresses, finishes... and then starts over! Multiple times! Honestly I had this problem back in X1 and Sonar 7 (I think?) but I ended up doing some "magic" that made it go away and I got a progress bar that "progressed" once and ended up with my stereo file. Now in X2 I seem to have lost my mojo. It almost seems like its bouncing down every track in the session before smushing them all together. I have tried various and sundry methods (different track selections, different bounce settings - tracks, mix, busses), 64 bit and not, fast bounce/slow bounce - no difference. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

It depends. I saw it happen when I was using 96khz sample rate. I thought it was preparing each track then mixing them down to one stereo track. I could be wrong though. It's been a while since I've used 96khz. I usually just use 44.1.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

I've seen this mentioned in connection with many SONAR versions. I don't remember, what the cure was, but I'm sure someone pops in to help.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

I've only ever seen this happen when either doing a multiple bounce, or freezing a multi output synth like BFD.

This is NOT the same as doing an export [File > Export] which only ever makes one pass (in my experience)
