It was an all boy catholic private rich prep school .....
I thought most of them were butt holes 25 years ago.
It cost 75 bucks ...
Debating to go or not?

I don't go to reunions that are free, so I'm probably not a good one to give advice. Therefore, here's my advice.
If you're going to see old friends you care about, then go and have a great time. If you're going to show everyone they were wrong about you and you did make something of yourself, don't bother. They're not worth it. If you're going to show them how a real Conquistador dances, make sure someone is capturing video.

There are a couple of people in high school I am still friends with. But they are on my Facebook and I see them pretty regularly anyway..... I don't have anything to prove to anyone. Someone I hadn't seen since 1988 posted on our 88 class page that It didn't surprise him that I was a music teacher. So I guess I am all ready what they expected. Part of me wants to go .... Part of me wants to stay home and watch a movie while my wife asks me not to fart in her general direction while I laugh about it.

I think my 40-year reunion is this year. I haven't been to any of them yet. I usually find out about a week after they've happened. I'm not avoiding them, it's mostly been bad timing--I'd have to plan a trip to NJ. At least I know ahead of time for this one. I probably still won't be able to make the trip, though. Oh, well. I'll start planning for 50 now.

Your school has 25th reunions? And it only had boys? That's two strikes. Going would probably just be the third!
(For the record, I skipped my last one - which would have been a 30th year reunion - because I didn't care to be around most of those losers when I was in school, so why would anything be different now?)

Go but for every person who walks up to you and tries to start a conversation just say "Before we get into any deep conversation, what's your FICO score?" If they ask why just tell them it needs to be of a certain level if they are to be of any help/consequence to you. If they ask yours, just say "101, but i'm an overachiever."
