Yeah no need to pay (unless it's cash to me - in which case there's an exception )

You can only bounce separate MIDI tracks to separate audio tracks if the soft synth has multiple outputs. TTS-1 has four outputs but you do need to assign the various channels to those. By default it will only output to one output. What that means is if you have say 4 separate MIDI tracks on their own channels each playing back a different sound via TTS-1 the output is still coming out of one output. That is why the bounced tracks end up one stereo track.

You need to use separate outputs from the same synth (and not all synths are capable of that) or use a separate synth for each MIDI track.

Once you've done that the method I listed in your earlier thread will produce separate audio tracks but you do need to make sure that "Tracks" is selected in the "Source" drop down.

exactly....

I have personally spent more then a few hours on the phone working with people talking them through various aspects of Sonar as well as some other music related programs.

I generally have them call me but not always

place a formal request stating specifically what you want to accomplish and someone will offer to assist... use PM to exchange phone numbers. It's not a good idea to post personal phone numbers in the open forum.

In many cases, a thorough explanation in the forums can be sufficient to get you headed in the right direction without the need for a call.

Have you tried this?

1) Click anywhere in the "main" screen (ie; where all the recorded tracks can be seen).
2) Rewind the track to the beginning
3) Go to File> Export> Audio
4) When the export box comes up, select the export format (.wav, etc) and a name for the file
5) In the bottom left there is another box....in there you can select individual tracks. Just go in there an hi-light the MIDI tracks you want to export.
6) Export (make sure you also select a folder location for where you want the files to end up)

What you are trying to do is export what are called "stems". I'm pretty sure the manual describes how to do this in greater detail under "exporting audio".

PS- I have done this quite a bit...it works like a charm!
