dsiable program changing

I recently downloaded some programs and combos to my Kronos, from a thumb drive.  I then saved the combo in question. However, whenevre, I go to another combo, and then return to this first combo, all the data is lost. SOmetimes, I see the original voices in the combo appear for a split second, only to suddenly change. I WAS able to get this to stop occuring when I exited from Sonar. I did try numerous things in Sonar to get it to stop sending these program changes, but to no avail. Can someone tell me what steps I have to take to take care of this?
Thanks.

If what your talking about ( not clear to me) is that Sonar is sending program changes when you start a song? yes? Then go to the event list and see if they are at the top.
I have found that sometimes they do not show there and what I have done is either slip edit the first bar of the track until it is 1 beat ahead of first note. Or I open the Midi file in Cubase and the PG change always shows there.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, when I went into the event list, there was nothing there. In fact, I had not yet recorded anything, but had saved it as a template for a project I was going to be starting.  i realize, as you said, that there might have been some data there that did not show. However, I did bypass this problem by going to my Synth, and disabling program and Combo change commands. I thought that I had done that before I even sent this 1st message, but I had mistakenly chosen some "memory protect" items instead.
    Thanks for your input.
