Did you do a full scan?

Also, you may have to make sure everything has been activated with Native Instruments.  I think Sonar does a query and that might return expected results if a given synth is not authorized.  (that is pure speculation and not based on anything but guessing).

Lastly, make sure the paths for the plugins is in your search path in the plugin manager in Sonar.

    Hope that helps,

Sometimes I find that one of my installed plugins is not listed as available in my Sonar Xn Browser.
When this happens, I open the Cakewalk Plugin Manager utility and check to see whether it is listed where expected in the right-hand pane - it usually is.
However, to get it back to being available in the Browser again, I remove the plugin from the list in the right-hand pane in the Plugin Manager and then add it again from the list of installed plugins in the middle pane.
After this, when I am back in Sonar Xn, the "missing" plugin is back in the Browser listing where it should be.
I don't know why this situation arises for me but perhaps this is your case also and this would work for you.

With the latest Kontakt suite, try as I might I can't get Sonar to see Guitar Rig 5.  Annoying because I have the Traktor plug for this that I'd like to use.  The other parts work, but I don't like 'em!

Guitar Rig 5 is an effect these days, and no longer a synth, in Sonar - in case you didn't know that.

To the original poster - I am not certain, but could Komplete 7 have shipped with 32-bit plugins?  I had Komplete 6 (now have 8). and I remembered that for 6 everything upgraded to 64-bit and I got the updates of the NI site.  Again, I am not certain of when things got updated to 64-bit, so this is purely a guess.
