send envelop: I can see it but I can not draw in it

Want to automate the send envelop for a track-bus. I managed to see the send envelop, I see a purple line of infinite length at the bottom of the track (send is at -INFinity) + a node at the beginning of the track. 

Now the problem is: I can not draw in it! Why is that?

    Do you mean you don't get an "Add node" prompt when you right click on the envelope, or how is it behaving? You can not draw envelopes, you edit them with nodes (at least "volume" and "pan" work that way, haven't tried "send").

    Send works exactly the same way as the rest Kalle.

    Well, I managed to draw noDes somehow someway. 

    I had to do it this way:
    There was a 2nd node at the end of my track. So I lifted it up and only after that I was able to draw other nodes
