That's quite the deal, 4 plugins at 10$ apiece

If I remember correctly, these plugins were used by Eli Krantzberg in his groove3 videos.

Are they 64 bit? If so, that's a steal.

Technically, it's the comp, clipper & limiter for $40.

    The EQ is a freebie.

thanks CB no issues were cool hell ya live in lowell thats painful enough, but not as bad as where i live. nothing says ****hole like chelsea Mass.and im just mad as sonar for no playing nice. not you bra. rock on and be well
and to everyone who like IK i got the white and black.2 comps with totally different use.
white is soft and good for a polish on a track or full mix
black is so powerful it could be my most go to plug this year, but it has presets that are all over the place, drastic

The comp is worth $40 IMO. A couple of years ago I was looking for a comp for my guitar and just couldn't find one that "sounds" the way I thought it should. I just happened upon the T-Racks Classic Comp. The search was over right then and there. I fell in love with the pre-set "electric guitar, more attack". Of course, I tweak that pre-set. But that is what sold me. Plus, they are 64-bit, too.

I understand your concerns, joden, but the Custom Shop has turned out to be more of an advantage than a pain for me.
After playing with the discount bundle for a while, I decided to pony up for the Total Studio 3 bundle (at half normal price). Because of the overall size, I ordered the boxed version, so it will be a few days before it arrives and I can report on all that kit. At least, it will allow me to take advantage of the Jimi Hendrix Anniversary bundle for another $40 to add to Amplitude 3, which should easily round out my guitar tone-shaping ability.
Thanks again, DigitalBoston for the heads-up with the OP!

    Joel

    Hey Joel,

Yeah you are probably correct  I just get annoyed sometimes with marketing techniques employed by businesses these days. I am not a fan of "forced installs".

And the effects you get are quite decent..Not sure yet whether it was worth the extra over and above the Sonar inclusions, I will reserve judgement on that

I will not stop speaking on this: I do not like IK's business model as it pertains to AmpliTube(which is inferior to Guitar Rig or just about any other Amp Sim) in particular, and don't like Custom Shop.

I wasted money on AmpliTube and refuse spend anymore with IK, even if the product is decent.

Hmmm. I deleted guitar rig and I'm thrilled with Amplitube. T-racks Custom shop is the latest version. It makes since that you would get the latest version of T-racks with a new purchase. imho.

Clint with respect (truly),  it may be okay for those already with IK Products, but it should be an OPTION to install...not forced.

I have no real dramas with companies offering this stuff with installation at the discretion of the end-user, but certainly NOT the model IK are using here...

Any opinions on how these plugins compare to the PC offerings?  Similar results or a different enough color to warrant $40 above the paid-for PC plugs?

I get your point, but the way I understand it. If your buying T-racks classic, that shouldn't be a concern since it's the entry level T-racks. It also makes it all 64 bit. I guess I understand the compliant more with Amplitube than T-racks. I'm not trying to argue with you, but for the Ik newbie they may want to know that some of us like the newer versions and why, while some do not and why.

It's worth $39.99 easy! I paid that for the concrete limiter alone. I like to use the PC for tracking and mixing and I use T-racks Deluxe for mastering.

Ozone 5 is pretty sweet too. I was trying to decide between the two when I got a good deal on T-racks deluxe ($69). I may still get O5 for the same reason you say, plus the limiter is fantastic. I also plan to get T-racks grand when it goes on sale. It was a $99 upgrade at Christmas.
Fab Filter is really nice, but for $389 it freaking should be.
