Is there a talkbox that can be used with Cakewalk?

? I wouldn't need it for a guitar. Just vocals. Trying to get that famous Troutman effect. Can someone shed some light on this for me.. Is there something similar already built in to Sonar. I have versions 7 and 8 although i'm more familiar with 7 at this time.
Is it possible to just purchase a talkbox from a guitar center and hook it into your mic, pre-amp,etc?
Sorry for being such a noob.
