Weird unintended chorus effect on bass track.

Hi all. Recording an electric bass track from a SansAmp directly to the card (Roland Quad-capture), all sounded fine while recording, but now seems to have an odd chorus-life effect on playback. Never happened before. I'm sure something is set wrong.
Any ideas why?
Thanks.

Phase button? Output routed to bus with chorus on? Has the bass track recorded to more than one track at once, one of which has a chorus like effect on it?

That's all I can think of at the mo. hope you get it sorted.

Just to add to Bibs's idea are you sure there's not more than one layer on the bass track? Use Shift + T with the bass track in focus to reveal all the layers.
