New Song - Climbing Mt. Ararat
Again, this piece was created for an upcoming video. It is an awesome epic adventure piece. Noah landed his custom made ship on Mt Ararat filled with his family and two of every kind of animal and creature of the earth. After leaving, the ship was left there for thousands of years. Today, many people are looking to find that ship or at least part op it. This piece is about an adventurous climb trying to find its location. Hope you enjoy! Some might say it was one heck of a climb!! http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12230059 Peace be with you. Blessings, John

I like your brand of spirituality. Its always adventuresome, never preachy. The music is, as always, epic. Great work John.

foxwolfen, thanks again for your very nice comments and I'm glad you find my spirituality in check. I try to convey a message through my music and written briefs, keeping it simple and humbling toward Him. I'm not a preacher, yet preach, let us just say a servant to the Lord. Thanks again for listening. Peace be with you. Blessings, John

I really like this, John. The piece moves along rapidly, and the percussion is very uplifting. The arrangement is top notch, as is the mix. Congrats!

Lynn, Thank you so much for the nice comments and the congrats. Very much appreciated. Trying to get all the percussion in the right place is always a challenge, but when it all comes together right, then the time spent is always worth the effort. Glad you enjoyed and thanks again. Hey John, This is seriously well produced. I listened twice and I don't often do that. Noah's Arc notwithstanding, I could see it used on the soundtrack of an extreme skiing video. I stand as a testament to the fact that even an atheist can appreciate it! - Dan

Nice big sound w/o getting cluttered. Hard to do, but you left just enough room for everything. As others have mentioned, the perc drives the piece, which is another nice trick. I betcha it works most excellently w/ the visuals. @

AT, Thanks for the listen and thanks for the compliments, much appreciated. Still working on the visuals, trying to figure out what they are going to be, as I have many options. Hopefully one day I will get everything together and get it finished. Thanks again. Peace be with you. Blessings, John

Cool arrangements here man. Really creative. I have never been able to write like this. My punk background pushes me to write 3 minute songs that get to the point and get on to the next one. haha! Nice instrumentation.

Loved the sence of urgency you've created with this track John. Those drums are great. I could imagine this being used in a car chase situation in a film, buti know that's probably not what you're aiming for here though. Excellent arrangement and dynamics and a faultless mix. Great piece of work.
