Dimension Pro Soundpacks

Hi, Does anyone know whether any of the Dimension Pro sound packs in the cakewalk store are already included with X2 producer? I'm looking for bread and butter sounds like basses, string sections/orchestral patches, slide guitar, vibes, piano, etc. Are there any specific sound packs you can recommend that substantially improve on those included with X2 Producer out of the box? Thanks! Jonathan

    Plenty of 'bread & butter' sounds. The Garritan Pocket Orchestra seems a little small to me though.
    And if you want to add any more Garritan Libraries, it seems you can't.
    Instead, Garritan requires you to use their Aria player,
    which is good enough, but doesn't allow you to tweak the sounds like Dim Pro.

    I suggest you buy them when you need them. There is a lot of content in Dim Pro but I think the expansions are all unique.

    There is a lot more information on the packs made by Digital Sound Factory (DSF) on their website. You get full patch lists plus some demo tracks.

    Its worth signing up for the DSF newsletter, they have frequent 30% off sales.
