Set Preferences to ASIO mode, 24 bit, and 44.1KHz sample rate? If that doesn't work, go to WDM. Make sure the Omega is the only soundcard selected. Deselect the onboard soundchip (probably Realtek).

Oh, you didn't say you had a USB microphone. USB microphones are problematic. Since they are treated as a sound device, then you can't use ASIO mode because ASIO only allows one sound device at a time. So you have to use WDM or MME mode. Try WDM first. Hopefully that will work. If you have to run in MME mode, then you should get rid of the USB microphone.

I dont have a USB mic, i have a Lexicon Omega audio interface, when i switched to asio mode all it did was say USB bandwith exceeded Well, that wasn't clear from your posting. It would help if you would post your computer specs and audio equipment. I assume your computer has USB 2.0 ports and not USB 1.1. Or are you using USB 3? Is the Omega plugged into a USB hub or a USB port on the computer? Make sure the Omega is plugged into a powered hub if you're using a hub. What other USB devices are you using? USB bandwidth errors are unusual. I have several USB hubs and a lot of USB equipment and have never gotten that message. Make sure you have the latest drivers for the Lexicon Omega. You may also want to reinstall them making sure you follow the instructions. Some USB devices don't want you to have it plugged in during the installation until it tells you to. Report back your findings. This should work. EDIT: I looked up the manual and the Omega is a USB 1.1 device. It also says: "USB Type B Socket: Version 1.1, Version 1.1 hubs are not supported." It also said to make sure the Omega is NOT connected when installing the drive so if you didn't follow that, uninstall the Omega and reinstall it following the instructions.

I have had Sonar X2 working with an Omega happily (although it is not the fastest interace in the world). As suggested, best download the latest drivers. Your post suggests Sonar is not seeing the correct Lexicon inputs as mine says lexicon omega not just usb 1 and 2. There are things you need to do in device manager to disable the non ASIO/USB inputs there is stuff on the web about this.
