Love your vocals Bobby as they prove i'm not the worst vocalist on this forum. Your guitar playing, however, rocks as much as it ever did, and that's a lot. Keep on rockin' mate.

Bobby, Chicken soup, Wow!! Great guitar work and everything else fits the song good. The vox need a touch of something, sounds off key in spots (not that I'm a great singer myself), but other than that sounds great. Rock on!! Nice jamm. Peace be with you. Blessings, John

Good tune, Bobby, and your guitar playing is awesome as always. Now, if we could just get your vocals to be 1/2 as good as your guitar work, you'd be home free. From what I could hear, it sounds like you've got a pretty good voice, but your singing well off pitch. I wish I could give you some easy tip to correct that, but I just don't know what that might be. All I can say is good for you for putting it out there, and keep on trying... maybe look into getting a vocal coach, assuming you really want to sing. All this strictly intended as friendly advice.

I have to agree with Philz on the brilliance of the guitar, but the vocal is close, but no cigar. I think, though, that it's a simple fix with pitch correction software. Your voice, itself, sounds fine for this song, but it's just a phrase or two away from perfection. It's worth looking into. philz Good tune, Bobby, and your guitar playing is awesome as always. Bobby, your playing has really come along nicely. I recall telling you sometime back to not be afraid to sing the songs. Good to hear you putting it out like that. The basic quality and uniqueness of your voice is there. It's totally acceptable in rock. Unless you are Bob Dylan though, you want to sing in tune a bit better. So......the vocals can use a bit of touch up to bring them up a few steps and make that song so much better. There is one tool you need to add to the gear you have. Buy Melodyne Editor. It isn't cheap but it works wonders. With it, you will be totally amazed at what it can do for the pitchy and warbly vocals. You can easily use it to pull the drifting or off pitch notes closer or dead on the right note with very little to no artifacts. You can also correct the other aspects that are"off" in the vocal track. I have to use it on my vocals all the time. Sometimes more than others. Even the pro's use it to fix the glitches in their singing. I use it on the guest singers on my music as well. I even use it on musical instruments from time to time. It's quicker to pop ME into the FX bin to fix a bad guitar note than it is to grab the guitar and punch in the right note in a new recording session. Keep at it and look into ME, and it will take what you can do with vocals to a whole new level.

Great guitar playing! Just few spots on your vocals needs tuning. Just a suggestion: have tried some screaming? The snare of the drum is a bit flat. It needs more pop. You can fix that by using the transient shaper and increasing the attack.

Something tells me I'm going to regret this, but my honest review. Never was anything wrong with your guitar work and some nice work here. Since the project is lost I'll skip the mix. The vocals are the big thing here and probably the most subjective. There is some off key notes but overall there are parts that you seem more confident and in those parts I hear a diamond in the rough. I'm not suggesting you do this over but if you were to put the project back together and made a karaoke track and practiced that a few times and be absolutely certain of every note you want to sing. You could nail that and knock it out of the park.

NIce Rockin Tune, Bobby. Guitar playing is just fine, and the vocals aren't perfect... but you sang it and it's really not that bad . BTW. I'm not much of a singer either, but I won't let it stop me from taking a swipe at it now and then. Keep at it, you've got talent.

I can't thank everyone enough for the kind comments!! I lost the master tracks to this mix in a hard drive crash sadly, But I kept this mix down on another drive and that's what you are hearing. Although I do plan to re-record the whole song entirely and honestly believe I can do so much better hopefully. I have been asked about the "Echo Vocal Thing" I used in this. What I did was us the Pocket Plugins Freeware VST called "Ping Pong" for that part. Just thought I'd mention that for those wondering. James - LOL!! Yeah, the Chicken clucking thing was just me being a bit bored at the time, an attention getting type of thing you might say, just for fun actually. Thanks for listening. Blipp - Thanks man, Thanks for listening!! I ain't no singer, I'm working on it though. I may not ever make it there but I ain't scared to try. Thanks again!! theguitarplayer - Thanks for listening John!! I'm working on it, lot's of changes in store in hopefully many better ways in the near future. Thanks again!! Philz - Thank you for listening!! I'm going to re-record this, hopefully with a better sound. Honestly I know I can do better. We shall see. Thanks again. Lynn - Thanks for listening!! I lost the master tracks for this one in a hard drive crash. I dunno what it is, maybe it's the way software writes to the hard drive while recording but since I have been recording music using the PC I have had a few hard drive crashes. Never had that problem until I started recording music on the PC. Thanks for listening. Guitarhacker - Thank you Herb!! Something you said to me a while back helped me more so than anything anyone has ever told me on vocals. You said : "A lot of rock songs have the vocals kinda quiet and buried in the mix". I dunno if you remember that or not but THANK YOU!! It has helped me tremendously on things as of late. Nobody likes a loud mouth on vox I guess ya know. Thanks again!! vechung - Thanks for listening and the screaming suggestion. I scream all the time at my mixes, but I still haven't gotten a reply just yet, I'm hoping though. LOL, Just kidding of course. Evadianpug - COOL!!! Thanks!!!!! What's up bro??? Great to hear from ya man!! Yeah I got the Email, sent ya back a few things. The Pugtones are AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Always great to hear from ya and thanks for listening!! ohgrant - Thank you Grant, I was a train wreck with so many problems last time I was on here. I've got most of them worked out. I'm not the same person I was. I am finally back to the real me is about all I should be saying right now for my own benefit. Thanks for the kind comments!! And thanks for listening!! And thanks for the Advice, I am going to re-record this tune, hopefully it will work out better and your advice will make it even better. Tap - Thanks for listening!! Tap, I thought you were a professional singer? Now I am confused. LOL!! I'm just kidding dude, LOL!! I think I can do better on the vox. I have this bad habit of taking the time to get things just the way I want them to and then maybe making one or two takes on the vocals. I have a weak voice and don't practice singing, although like I have always said I just add vocals to show where the words go. Thanks to all who have replied!! Thanks for listening!! song is really well thought out and the guitar work in the chorus is just amazing. the vocals aren't great but I do like your melody ideas for them.

chuckebaby - Thanks man, I am going to re-record this one, it's not one of those I can recover since my last hard drive crash. I think I can do better though. We shall see, I ain't afraid to try either way, maybe better or may not be. BTW: I have a few friends I wanna work with on this one so it may turn out really good. Thanks again!! Bobby

Hey, Bobby, Very cool 80's rock song with great guitar playing and a nice thick wall of punchy guitars! It sort of reminds me of the early Ratt albums. You're doing much better on your vocals, too! The chickens at the beginning were a real blast! Nice work! Bob

Most things have been said Bobby. nothing's changed since I last commented on one of your songs - you have some cool riffs and songs, let down by sloppy production. i don't mind your vocals, you have a decent tone to your voice, and i like how you have produced that, actually, in fact it's more the drums i don't like - just the sound. but a very very good song.

Bob Oister - Thanks Bob, I hope to do a new version of this sometime in the near future. Thanks again!! And BTW : You latest stuff is freaking great man!! Keep it up!! mgh - Thanks for listening, this was recorded a couple years ago, that's why nothing has changed. I lost the master tracks and hope to re-record this very soon with a different singer. Thank you for the kind comments about my vox, Honestly I'm not working on it, I have a lot of problems with my voice, but I am hearing things better these days, I dunno if that makes sense or not, I guess what I am trying to say is lately I have been paying better attention to things a bit more. Thanks again!! Bobby
