Anyone using Dual Monitors with one being a Multi Touch?

Just ordered a 23" Multi-Touch monitor to incorporate into my dual monitor setup. (X2a Producer/Windows 8 Pro) Currently, I use the Primary monitor for Track view, and the second to display the undocked Console. My plan now is to use a multi-touch for the Console to control the sliders with the screen, which means it needs to be the secondary display since the Track view can't be undocked and must remain on the primary monitor. Will the multi-touch perform as the secondary display and/or will I run into any weirdness that anyone is aware of?

The touch needs to be set up as the main monitor as far as win 8 goes for touch to work I think, but I don't really know if I am understanding you correctly.

You can have console on the touch and TV on the non touch however.

I had a similiar set up- the touch beneath the TView, angled so it was easy access but I found it underwhelming.

Now, I bought a longer cable and I have the touch monitor propped up on my electronic keyboard and I use it to change patches, read sheet music, surf internet, run the recording session from there.

I believe that once you have properly configured the touch monitor by opening settings and searching for tablet. Then ensure that it's configured as you want and restart your system. People on the web are reporting that after doing this with some monitors, the touch screen works properly regardless of whether it is the main monitor or not.

I got this from youtube myself.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I'm using one touch screen mounted horizontally at an angle below a non touch screen mounted vertically. It works perfectly.
I find that I'm keeping Sonar always on the touch monitor and use screensets to switch from console view to track view.
The things that you can do in track view with touch are cooler than using it in console view. Navigating and zooming, making a selection in the time line by dragging your finger on it. It's awesome.
