Vocoder Output Very Low?

Hi there!
 
I am messing around with the Vokko vocoder which is great fun but I have a problem.  I can get the vocoder effect to sound pretty good on a vocal track but the output level is very low...like really quiet...way to quiet to compete in the mix. 
 
I have tried messing around with eveything I can find but so far so joy.
 
Does anyone have any ideas of what I maybe missing here?
