Most skinny people don't eat enough.

They don't. That's why they are skinny. I used to be skinny and didn't eat enough so I would know. No offense to skinny people. I am trying to be one myself 

Never hit me until I was 40 and I quit smoking...

At 16, my favorite meal a whole box of spaghetti, toss one lb of beef in a can of sauce, spread cheese all over it, add one or two slices of bread and eat the whole thing. Man - that's enough food for a family!

I'm pushing 59 this year..... dang.... that came quickly.....

anyway..... I have been in the 150 to 160 lb range all my adult life. Never below and never above. I eat what I want pretty much, when I want, and as much as I want.

I take small portions. You can see the plate between them. And no seconds.... well, maybe the turnip greens my MIL cooks.  Low sugar intake, no chemical sweeteners, and no bread... (well again rarely on the bread..homemade is the one exception)

I often leave the table with a bit of hunger remaining. It's a crazy way to live but that's how I do it. 

I also stay active. Exercise and simple activity outdoors. Nothing radical. 

For most of my life(after wieght lifting) I weighed 16.43 stones at 188cm high.

I also told my former wive's that 10cm=10in, I suppose that's why they are former.

 What we need in the world is another Robin Hood...a guy to take the food away from the fat people and give it to the skinny people.

 Hmmmm....yes Robin Hood would be the one wearing the low drawers( undersheddies) 

 Faster that a double whopper at the drive through...speedier than a large coke at Mcdonalds, able to swipe entire bags of chicken Mcnuggets in a single bound.

I am not skinny but I am un-fat. When I graduated from HS (yes indeed, I did) I weighed in at 119 pounds... and NO, I did not play contact sports. I was in the chamber chorus however. I don't eat a lot but I have explained that. I am too lazy to cook, almost too lazy to eat. I did have a bag of those small powdered donuts that happened to be within reach earlier so I ate most of them.

I only said I had a diet, I never said I had a good diet.. but it works for me. I, like Jerry Garcia, seem to gravitate (am pulled toward) a life of benign neglect. However, I do not combine it with abuse of illegal drugs.

I now weigh around 178. The pain doc tried me on Lyrica, it really helped with back pain but at a low dose of 50mg x2 a day I was up to 183 pounds and that caused muscle pain just below my rib cage when standing for any ammount to time. I stopped it and dropped back to the 178 range.
If I were to go to Ckoe Zero or water I would lose down to about 173 or so in a week.. but REAL Coca~Cola works for me. It quenches my taste.

Everything seems to be a tradeoff as you get older. Moderation... what use to be an excuse is now a reason. I once excused a youthful life of hedonism by saying, "everything in moderation"... it sounded smart, it was just an excuse but like I said, it is now a reason... though I now have to leave out the "everything" part.
