Reconciling Cakewalk project

Trying to reconcile an X1 bundle so it can be produced on a CuBase system.  Not sure how to reconcile so all tracks retain their position with :00 as the time reference.

Please help.

Thanks,

Larry

You will need to open it in Sonar and create an OMF version.

If you don't want to deal with an OMF file, you can just export each track form the same timeline or you can export each track as a Broadcast wave file. Broadcast wave files are wave files with embedded info in it for timing.

Just do what ever is easier for you and what you feel comfortable with.

If you do straight exports, the entire length of the project is retained in the wave as long as you make sure you are exporting from 0:00.  I move tracks all the time from different apps and never had issue.  Other DAWs seem to be more complex but very easy with Sonar.  I usually just export RAW tracks
