Electrify (New version with no compression, just slight limiting)
Back to the synths with this one. Another of my older tunes i've remixed and remastered for a possible album project. Hope it electrifies you. (yeah, corny i know, but it's the best i can come up with for now) New version with no compression, but some minimal limiting. http://soundcloud.com/usb-2/electrify

I like it, has spacey sorta vibe going on. One of the lines in there sounded a bit like (to me anyway) a Depeche Mode kinda thing.

Very relaxing Blipp, yet more than ambient...All the synthetic sounds are complmentary and sound well together. It's easy to make tracks like this jarring in parts. I like it's new treatment.

Love the analog phatness of this. Though the waveform looks compressed as hell!

Very nicely done blip. Has a spacy feeling with lot of variants bobbling around. Seem like you used the same continuous vibe from :10 - 3:32. You might consider breaking that up with something else that fits in, in the middle of the piece. But, its your piece and you know what your after. Sounds good though, as is. It's just an option. Peace and blessings, John

Very subtle change in that wav when the that low sine wave synth come in there at 10 seconds? Electricity scares the crap out of me personally. Anyone who's ever really been grabbed by it and lived to tell knows what I'm talking about. I would really like to hear some of your stuff under a melody? Something melodic with which it could fit? I don't mean that in an insulting way so I hope it's not taken as such. Maybe even under a rap (but I hate rap)

Nice, smooth wave form. I like the changes in the middle and at the end.

Nice tune, hints of many early electronic music, TD, JMJ, to name a few. Very enjoyable thanks for sharing.

jamesyoyo Love the analog phatness of this. Though the waveform looks compressed as hell! Yeah it does look really bad and when i first saw it after i uploaded it to soundcloud i was horrified. :-) I loaded the wavefile into soundforge and it looked much better, so i think soundcloud's converters have screwed it up, but i could be wrong there. The wavefile sounds a lot better than the soundcloud converted one. I know that's to be expected, but not by the ammount it is. I'm sure i never had this much of a problem with soundclick even though the maximum was 128kb/s. with them for me.

After due consideration i've uploaded a new version with no compression and just a little limiting. The waveform still does'nt look very dynamic for some reason, but at least the soundcloud version sounds more dynamic than it did before. Any comments on the new version compared to the original version. would be much appreciated. Thanks

Loved this one, John. Especially that banjo sounding synth that comes in... to me that baby just adds a killer overtone to the piece... loved it.

perfect. great tune, which is maybe a little unusual, but you work the layers very well. it doesn't really go anywhere, which is fine by me, but you may need another tune for others...
