Anyway to turnoff Take Lane

Hi Again.

I am doing a small project and I want to turn off the takes lane from adding themselves.  I just want to work with the original take.

Thanks in advanced

    I think this might help:

In X2, go to Preferences, select Project > Record. Select "Store Takes in a Single Track", clear the Lanes > Create New Lanes on Overlap.

If you already have a number of takes recorded, you can simply mute or archive all of the lanes you don't want (enable the "Take Lanes" button on the track in Track View, the track(s) that you don't want to hear, or you could copy the entire track, rename it as desired and archive it. Then on the original track, delete all of the takes you don't want to use.)

    Thanks,
