Halls of Judgement

Boston just experienced one of the worst tragedies it ever faced. Those who will do our country and our people wrongs will have to pay a price, and that price is judgment and it takes place here in this piece of music. All comments are always welcomed.

This is a really very dynamic piece of music John - I can tell you put a lot into this one - just so much going on - and everything fits together so well. I really love this - excellent.

I could hear this as the background for a movie, chasing the bad guys and rendering final judgement.  Nice track!

Great job John. I always like to hear vocals in music, but there is Beethoven, so he proved that music can be good with out vocals and a front man.LOL. This is very good John, I can hear that you put a lot in to this. How did you come up with this, Film, book, or what?

Wow, that was interesting. Having moved up to Massachusetts, I can say that this whole mess was quite unexpected. I think they did a great job tracking down the suspects rather quickly under the circumstances. I think you've captured a lot of the essence of what we have been experiencing. This is a really fine composition.

Warren, Thanks for the nice comments and for the listen. Yes, it is about judgment of the bad guys, and they will be judged. In fact, we will all be judged one day, some to eternal life and others not so lucky. I just hope people appreciate what we are given in this life and use it for all the right reasons. Thanks again.

Peace be with you and blessings, John

Terry, Thanks for the listen and the nice compliments. I am no Beethoven by any means, but I guess I just have an ear for music. Started out playing drums when I was 13 and then got into guitars and keyboards throughout my 20's, so the ear is there. Now with all the new technology, loops, samples, music fonts, preset, customizable everything, it's just a matter of taking advantage of it all and putting the music all together. And why not, I paid good money for everything I have and so the result is what you hear, with a little bit of everything. You can even make your own Aciditized samples and tweak them with presets and make even more. Then you  have all the Spectural things you can grab out of your music and tweak them, as well. It's just endless. You just have to read the directions and your off. As for some of my loops and samples I have to mention that they are for video, in order to use them, it is part of the purchase agreement, and so all of my music is for video use, but not just video only. Everything has a price and options. But really, I do this because I simply enjoy doing it.

Peace be with you. Blessings, John

Tap, Thanks for listening and for the nice compliment. Yes, I wanted to capture something than would convey that nothing goes un-noticed and that there is always judgment for those who do wrong by others. It seems to be happening more and more each day, bombings, bank robberies, convenience story hold ups, rapes, child pornography and the like, it just seems endless. Guess I'll just never understand why people just can't love one another and be at rest in this beautiful world God has prepared for us.

Peace be with you. Blessings, John

Excellent production and arrangement.  Lots of very tasty different instrumentation mix and combination.  You must have put a lot of time into it.  The composition is also outstanding with great drama and suspense.

John, it's mixed up so loud that it loses some of it's subtlties and dynamics I feel a piece like this should have "specially" because of the genera. I would pull just a little pressure off of the limiter on the mains and bring it down 2 clicks. But please take any mix advice I give with a generous helping of salt.

Robbie, I usually finalize the mix loud for those who like loud. Personally, when I listen, I set my computer volume to 90 and then adjust the song player I'm listening to between 86 and90, that way I don't get all of the explosives and other noise you may be hearing. Give it a try on this one and you may enjoy the piece a bit better. Thanks for listening and the comments, they are very much appreciated. Also, remember, this is about the judgment day and I'm sure it will be quite epic, to say the least.
