V-Vocal disappeared but then I got it back

Seen a little stuff about V-Vocal weirdness on X1.  Thought I'd relate my own experiences in case it helps anybody.

I had frozen some vocal tracks I'd tidied up with V-Vocal.  Then I unfroze them to play with them some more.  Fresh V-Vocal editing seemed fine but when I went to mix I noticed I wasn't hearing previous V-Vocal.  (Luckily I'd done something pretty audibal and used V-Vocal to create a harmony).

Opening V-Vocal I could see the edits just fine but even soloing I couldn't hear them, I was just hearing the orig.

Tried muting and unmuting orig and V-Vocal clicks in the expanded track view.  No effect.

Finally reopened each clip and clicked and un-clicked the Bypass button in V-Vocal and started hearing the V-Vocal processing again.  No indication in the UI but I started hearing the harmony.

Enjoy!

    Interesting.

I always thought that you couldn't freeze a V-Vocalled track until you've bounced it (to clip or track).
