CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ON A MIX??

Hi folks! I just entered the Puremix/Gearfest mixing contest. I'd love some feedback on my mix! https://soundcloud.com/csmart-1 DAW: Sonar 8.53 Producer X64 on Windows 7. Sonitus plugins, PX64 on drums, lots of track and bus EQ, plus some third-party products. Thanks for listening and any comments! Chris

    Sounds good to me.  Who are the musicians?  You did a good job with some great tracks to work with, I'm sure.  Love the singer!

    Thanks! Glad you like the sound. The band is The Liza Colby Sound. Very soulful singer. :) It was a challenge doing a lot with only seven tracks. bass amp, bass di, kick, snare, overhead (the only stereo track), a single guitar part and a single vocal track.

    very nice mix. very clean sounding. great job!
