Three new songs! Take your pick! [Electronic Pop Rock]

Working on a 17-track album - possibly my final large musical undertaking (it's just not as fun as it used to be.) I've been putting out work-in-progress versions of a few of the songs under a pseudonym to test them out.

I'd love to hear what you folks honestly think! My feelings cannot be hurt. No pressure, though - if you take the time to listen, I'll appreciate it just as much as if you wrote some feedback.

Take your pick!

Work In Progress #1 [Up-tempo, rocky] : https://soundcloud.com/ar...-progress-1-with-edits

Work In Progress #2 [Soft, piano-based] : https://soundcloud.com/ar...sic/work-in-progress-2

Work In Progress #3 [Mid-tempo, dancey] : https://soundcloud.com/ar...sic/work-in-progress-3

Thanks a lot! I've always appreciated the feedback and information I've gotten on these forums, so I'm excited to hear what you all have to say.

Well, I listened to all three, 1. No my genre and so I couldn't even listen to much of it, but the mix was very well done. 2. This one I thought was very good, but the vocals need to come more up front like in number 3, but the rest of it was very nicely done. 3, This was the best mix of them all and the vocals were perfectly in place for the song. Very nice work and professionally done. This is my opinion and so there you have it. Great stuff.

    Peace and blessings, John

    Hey, Dan,

It's great to see you back around on the forum!

#1 was definitely my favorite, the instrumentation and vocals were amazing, and the mix is radio-ready and totally pro all the way!

#2, The piano ballad was very nice, too, it gave me a late 80's "Starship" vibe overall.  Great song, although I wasn't quite sure about the reverb used on the vocals, LOL, I don't know why, but it sort of distracted me for some reason.

#3 was also fantastic, with a really cool pop-rock vibe and a crystal clear mix that's sounds perfect for the genre.

Excellent work, Dan, thanks for posting them.  Your song "Wide Awake" is still one of my all time favorites ever posted here on the forum, killer good stuff!

Have a good one, and don't be a stranger!

    Bob!

Good to hear from you - thanks a bunch for the feedback.

In the piano ballad track, I was trying for a Phil Collins effect on the vocals, but I'm not sure how well I accomplished it. I'll see what I can do about making it less distracting. ;-)

    Thanks again!
