Audio interface question--SOLVED...thank you...

I am attempting to set up a Zoom r16 as an audio interface (X1, Win7)

I know the computer is "seeing" the R16.
In preferences, the R16 is listed below my regular interface (Tascam US600), but it is greyed out, and will not let me place a check in the box.

Any idea what is going on or what steps I might try?

Thanks....

You are most likely using ASIO mode. ASIO will only allow one device to be used at a time. Deselect the Tascam input and output and the Zoom should be available to select.

You need to try a different Driver Mode in Preferences. It may not work with ASIO or WDM, so you may end up having to use the older MME mode.

    That did it.  Thanks
