Beats Audio

Beats Audio is on my new HP h8-1437c PC desktop and there is a way to disable it but so far I'm having partial success getting all my Sonar X2 files onto the new computer. I am concerned about 1. whether I have the right settings in Preferences with Beats Audio, and 2. whether I should disable Beats altogether http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MExhl8Gefpc

Some of my Cakewalk Projects load up and play fine. Some have noticeable distortion or don't play at all. My method is to tinker tinker tinker and finally get settings right. But if any one has an HP (desktop) with Beats perhaps you can share your experience. Thank you, larry in nm

What files? Audio files/ CWP and per project?

If your getting distortion, you probably need a sound card that is recommended for use with Sonar or if you have one, you need to install its most up to date drivers and try ASIO and WDM driver modes with different buffer and slider settings to see what works best for you.
