Crash when changing buffer size

everytime I increase my buffer size in my ASIO drivers, my interface stops working. I can reduce it and occaisonally the same thing happens, but almost everytime I increase, i lose it.  I have to then reboot then all is ok again. Anyone else experience this? Anyone figure out how to restore without a reboot?

At best the "Audio Dropout" pop up window appears and I just click 'Cancel'
2nd best is  "Audio Dropout" pop up window appears and I just click 'Cancel' + a loud audio glitch.
At worst I have to close SONAR and Re-open.
I don't think I have had to reboot the computer.
