"Back up your file encryption certificate and key" Where is it!?

I got my first ilok and first plug in that requires it.  The plug in is working fine, but I get this message every time I boot the computer.  Where do I find the encryption certificate and key?

The key should be in your iLock account, IIRC. you can back it up by clicking the "back up now' and follow its instructions. Its been awhile since I did it.

When I click backup now it asks me to locate the file, but gives no indication of what the file name would be or where it is located.  It only gave a file extension.  I did a search on my computer for any file with that extension and there was none.

Are you saying this file be on ILok.com and not on my computer?  Maybe thats what the backup is for.. to get it on my computer?

This doesn't *look* like it's iLok related, but because you have configured some/all of your hard drives to use Windows Encrypting File Service (EFS).  I may be wrong having never owned an iLok, but that's what it looks like: in which case, you should either disable EFS on your hard drives if you don't want to use it or pop in a USB stick and save the certificate to it and keep it safe (ie. you choose where to save the certificate).

I have encountered this "back up encryption certificate key" message also.
And I have never been able to get the back up process to complete itself.
In my case the message is related to some plugins from Nomad Factory.
