Nomad Integral Bundle $199

From: Don't Crack

Use promo code PDZ_ISP3

Don't know if this is a good deal or not as I have never tried a Nomad VST.

The quality of their products is uneven. I personally don't like them at all, but some people swear by them. IIRC, Jeff Evans is a big fan of their Pultec.

One thing I've learned the hard way - once you buy them, you're stuck w/ them. No license transfer option.

I'd say that is a good deal.  You get enough top-quality plugins in that bundle to justify the price, IMHO.

Some of my favorite Nomad plugs are their newer EQs like the Pultec, the Altec, and the Neve 1081 emulation in the British bundle.  To me, they sound more natural  than similar plugs from other major vendors.  One of the hallmarks of Nomad plugs is the transparency -- I don't hear as much of that digital grit and harshness compared to others.

Other worthy Nomad tools:  the de-esser in the Blue Tubes bundle is the only de-esser I use (and I've tried a lot).  Magnetic can fatten up a track nicely.  BlueVerb is a decent reverb unit, the Echoes and Oilcan delays are really cool, and the AMT mastering bundle is very smooth and transparent.  And the Liquid Mod can achieve some nice chorus effects.  I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention other useful stuff -- there are something like 50 plugins in the set.

The Nomad GUIs can be a little on the gaudy and cartoonish side, although they all work well with smooth control action.  And everything's been very stable for me.

You can download the entire bundle from the Nomad site in demo form to try all the plugs yourself before buying.  One more thing:  I bought the bundle second-hand a while ago, and there were no license transfer problems at all.  Very smooth transaction.

    Cheers,
