snap to scale

I found it like the first day I had the program.  I remember it being around the upper right area somewhere.  It would block out all the notes that were not in the selected scale and I could select the scale from there as well.

Anyone help me find this again?

yes I found it there, thank you!  I do remember it being somewhere else as well but maybe I am wrong.  Really enjoying this host now, things are starting to come together for me a little bit.  I did have a couple crashes though and that is the reason I changed my last host, too many crashes :(

also is there a way to choose this for every track at once?  I am pretty sure there is, seems almost everything you can do in this host.

Try with ctrl when you select a key.

it's also in the piano role view PRV

are you saying you get this to work in real time or after you've recorded by selecting notes and having it fix them

Yes, as Mike said, it's also in the Piano Roll view. Just right-click on a track in the Track List in the Piano Roll view to access the Snap To Scale settings for that track.

I am just using it for inputing notes myself, not playing a keyboard although I do have a keyboard I was planning to try this with!  Would be nice if it worked live as well.  I would think it would since it does not let you place a note on one that is not "snapped".

I am new to this program by only a few days.  I cannot figure out how to access this from the piano roll view.  I just don't understand all the terminology.
