Three Rivers Two Step (now with organ and piano)
I posted this song a few weeks ago - and a few of you suggested that it needed keyboards. So, Scott Campbell - who also played fiddle on this offered to do an organ and a keyboard track. Richard Arizmendi did the sax on this and I played guitar. Thanks Scott. THREE RIVERS TWO STEP

Very nice, I didn't hear it without the organ but can tell you that I think the organ sounds great. Very nice playing all round and recording sounds great to me.

This has the right feel and the right touch. It sounds like it could be right next to me in my studio. You have given us another fine piece of music to enjoy, Mark.

Yea, the organ slides right into this one. Everything is so tastefully done musically, w/o overdoing the leads. It sounds so free and open since you took the time to arrange everything perfectly. Nigh on perfect production. And a fun tune, too. @

Hey Mark. This is mighty fine. What a cool slanky groove. All involved do a great job. Scotty is a monster..... So, "Three Rivers". Is this a Pittsburgh song?? (Monongahela, Allegheny, and Ohio Rivers form the golden triangle in Pgh.)..

Thanks everyone. Tim, Three Rivers is a small community in the foothills above Fresno, CA. Named Three Rivers because . . . well, three rivers merge there. I have a lot of relatives that live there - it is a beautiful area.

Hey Mark! Thanks for having me aboard. Didn't think you'd re-post it, but I see you did! Not my best keys work, but I only had a half hour to spend on the keys parts. Learning songs and rehearsing with three bands gets a little bit time consuming....then there's that nasty day job. Thanks again! Timidi, Yes, I understand that I'm a monster who spews gun metal mouthwash. Robby, Pick yourself up and dust yourself off. After all, you far surpass me on keys.

Ok, I had one chambered and in position and then I saw this? And it made me think that, "maybe life is still worth living?" Thanks for that Scotty! You're still a superhero in my book (it's a paperback, and only 3 chapters? But still...)

Excellent! Great mix and outstanding performances by all. I haven't been around to hear your first post but man, I love this one. One of my favourite instrumental groups when I was a wee little thing in short pants was Bill Black's Combo. Boy, have you captured the style of the genre that his group used to put out. The guitar work and rhythm is very reminiscent of that. Terrific stuff Mark.

Nice production! I really like the guitar on this, perfect tone and vibe for this piece. This tune took me back to 1960, this is like a classic instrumental from that era (but with better guitar playing than those days!). Great sound. Daryl
