Who buys pants off the interweb??

But seriously, funny or not, this, along with the recently banned Mountain Dew commercial is a disturbing trend in web/tv advertising.  Who really wants their products associated with childish bathroom humour, domestic violence and racism or any other negative notion?

    The dimbulb parade continues apace.

It got a chuckle from me.

But then I guess deep down I'm really shallow.

I must say though I looked at the price of air fares just recently and almost shipped myself instead.

It falls along the same lines as Hollywood trying to push the limits with all those Focker movies...

    Hmm.

    A bit laboured really.

It's no worse than the "sheet" energy commercials I've seen on primetime and actually maybe even funnier.

but it didn't really get a chuckle out of me.  not that I don't laff at potty humor - it's just that this one is not really "original" IMO.

    here's the "sheet" one.

    I don't get it...

    What's funny about "pants" anyway?

"I just shat my undershreddies" might raise a titter though.

Providing it's someone else who's saying it of course.

I'm actually having some pants shipped right now. I would never in a million years buy clothing online before this, but I got so pissed about stores in New York selling nothing but bright turquoise skinny jeans that I've bitten the bullet. Who knows, if all goes well I may even end up buying underpants on eBay.

I heard,  a few years back, that ripped up, highly distressed blue jeans were all the rage in Japan and people were paying several hundred dollars per pair....

So I figured this would be a great time to "cash out" on my old jeans... the ones with the ripped out, worn out knees and the paint splotches and the other rips and gashes they had picked up by use through the years.

So I took a few pics and posted them on E-bay... starting bid at $40 to get the activity going..... waiting and watching to see them rise to over $250 each..... BAM!!! we have a winner.... SHIP  those pants...!

I still got some of them.....  some have been converted to shorts, others have been tossed in the trash.
