DELETED SAMPLE - REOPEN SOON IN JUNE !

In this 4rd new version I'm playing my guitar differently , its not perfect but its a keep for this section .
Hey , I have only been playing this guitar for a month or so .
I'm just now working with scales and trying to get my fingers working where I can play the right notes .
Anyway I like whats going on now for the music I created , I just need to smooth it out more when playing my notes on my fretboard .

Again I'm messing around with the guitar Audio track mix , I added some compression and alittle reverb to help spread out the guitar sound so my background music sounds good .
I know its not the best mix but if I keep messing around with it I should be able to make some improvements in the overall mix .

Hey I'm working at it - James

Sounded good to me, especially with the background instrumentation and effects. Nice one.

Thanks John , I'm found some new notes on my fretboard and thought
this sounds cool with the music I created . I still need to clean it up some .
Getting my fingers to move around is tricky when your learning for the first
time but the more I practice the rewards will come soon enough .
I have also been spending alot of time remixng my music behind the guitar ,
experimenting with new things to get that sound I'm looking for my new
            song .
The drums in this section with the guitar I did myself using my electronic
drum kit , I think I have that mixed right . I want to play around and layer
in some added crash cymbals so those sound better in the mix .

I'm in no hurry with this song , a month or two I don't care . My main goal
is to create a new song with the best over all mix , a song with my own
drums in it and now lead guitar .
Hey thanks for the listen , hopefully when I update this sample its going to
sound ten times better I hope !

            Cheers -James

Hi everyone , I finally straighten out this noise issue I was having with my new AUDIOBOX interface .
I went back and redid my lead guitar track and remixed it , heres my newest version .
    http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12314128&q=hi&newref=1

By the way the song starts out with a 30 second intro section and leads into the first guitar verse .
I want to mess around with it alittle bit more before I move on to the next section , maybe lower the BASS DRUM just a bit in the intro section and layer in some crash cymbals on top of whats in here now to spice it up a bit more .

Hope you like whats going on so far , thanks !

Hi back again with another 3rd new guitar version played differently , its not as perfect as I want it to be but with some more practice hitting the right notes I'm sure I can make some good progress in this section of my new piece of music I'm working on .

    Cheers - James

Thanks Bobby , yea I think I solved that noise problem soleved when I record
my guitar . I moved my left monitor speaker away from my AUDIOBOX USB
audio interface unit that sits between the monitor speaker and my PC . I
think that was my main problem when recording my guitar because I'm not
hearing that loud noisy winning sound everytime I play the higher notes on
            my guitar .

I plan on replaying this again to see if I can make some improvements in the
way I'm playing it in this sample, I like the sound of it but it needs to be
replayed again so after I get back from my dental appointment today I
will work on it again and repost it as a 4th new guitar sample .

            Thanks Bobby - James

Hey thanks for the lift , the more I practice the more conforable it should
be for me . I can't expect Miracles in a month and a half but so far I feel
like I will get somewhere in a few years time playing the guitar . By then I
will need a new Strat guitar , DANG I better not tell my wife that right now
after buying this guitar , Amp , Case and my electronic drum kit . Right now
I'm on the NO-BUY-LIST for the next year ! LOL

Thanks again for the listen - James

James, it's really hard to hear your guitar with all that other stuff going on man. Your trying to learn guitar, why not do a Guitar based song without all the extra's?

I'm not knocking you at all and applaud you for trying here.

It's hard to give you advice on guitar when we can't hear your guitar that much ya know.

Eitherway, I like it!! Don't give up!!

DANG Bobby the MUSIC behind the guitar is the best part , no affense taken but I can hear whats going on . It was meant to be a LEAD track not all guitar music like you record all the time .
Maybe some adjustments on my lead track is needed , careful Bobby I
might have to start plucking your feathers and torch your next steak or pizza ! LOL

cool. Nice to hear something different. Things I liked...

    lot's of layers!

    Drums. offbeat sound.

    Guitar and synth together. cool!

    things I did not like....

Some of the guitar sounded out of tune?

towards the end your hitting the same guitar note over and over again. Was hoping it would go to another note (notes).

Some of the cymbal hit's at the beginning sounded a little to "orchestrated".

    Much better than Justin Bieber!

    Mike,

Thanks for the listen , comments and suggestions and your right about
my guitar sounding a bit off on some notes . I started last night going back
and replaying it again because I too realize I did play a few off notes or maybe
my guitar was slightly out of tune on a string but I think it was me to be
honest with you playing some wrong notes . Part of the learning on my own
process I guess but I am trying to correct those areas you talked about .

With some of the cymbals I layered some over top of the cymbals I played
using my electronic kit . I had planned on working with that as well , there
are a few minor mixing I need to address too .
Hey thanks for the listen , next time I update it again the song will be
finished . Can't say when because I'm taking my sweet time on this song
but sometime in June I should have it finished and the guitar lead track fixed
             too .

             Thanks - James

Thanks everyone who commented on my sample , its back in the shop for repairs .
I will repost it when its completely finished sometime in June , I better buy some extra strings because I'll be doing alot of practice to get my song so it sounds right the next time I post it .

    Thanks for the support !
