BPM changing on its owne

I'm using sonar X2 Win 7 & Asio
It seem's like my BPM in a project are changing on there owne (123 to 179)
What can I do to LOCK it in ?

Also What am I doing wrong when I take a section of audio & make it a groove clip so I can repeat it
The clip is doubling in BPM Speed?

Did you insert a tempo change? Or did you possibly copy a clip and include in the copy info "Tempo Changes"? That can cause the tempo to change bpm at the location where copied the clip.

just click views/tempo view and check out your tempo map, it will inform you of all tempo changes.

"Also What am I doing wrong when I take a section of audio & make it a groove clip so I can repeat it The clip is doubling in BPM Speed? " in loop construction view, make sure the beats is the same value as the audio file i.e if its two bars of 1/4 note beats 4/4 make sure beats is valued at 8.if its valued less or more like 4, it will double in tempo, like wise 16 it will be half the tempo. look at the photo, i have 2 bars of 4 beats, at 120 bpm, i changed the value to 4, and the tempo doubled Uploaded with ImageShack.us

basically wats happening in loop contruction view there is cuz i set the value at 4, it treated each bar like the beats are 1/8 notes, the reason why its sais 1/4 notes on the drop down is cuz i changed it to see if it altered the file, but it still treats the beats like 1/8th notes
