Changing the number of files in file menu

Can the number of files that appear in the file menu be changed somewhere? Is there a maximum?

Currently there are 8 and I want to take it up 12.

If so, how does one go about doing so?

    AFAIK, 8 is the max and it can't be changed.

    That's a shame. It would have made life easier on me. I'm doing a live gig using Cakewalk and I wanted to speed things up w/o having to negotiate folders to find files. 

    I can create a work around by creating a document that links direct ... but it would have been nice to just link from the file menu.

    Previous versions of Sonar allowed to change the list up to 9.  I haven't been able to figure out how to change it in Sonar X2.

    Another option is to setup a playlist. File-New-Playlist Set

    Maybe that's what you want.
